Jiamusi aims to go global at CIFIT
Jiamusi, situated near the border with Russia in North China's Heilongjiang province, will take part in the 2015 China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) to seek global business opportunities.
Jiamusi sits near the easternmost tip of the country. It is the frontline of China's opening-up program with Russia.
The Jiamusi delegation, led by the city mayor, will display the distinctive green food products and art crafts of cultural industry and host an economic cooperation exchange meeting to promote the city at the 2015 CIFIT and to attract investments in the provincial key industries.
Jiamusi is one of the leading raw material bases for green food. In 2014, it ranked fourth on the list of cities with the best food safety, and the first on the Chinese mainland. Besides its huge advantage in modern agriculture, Jiamusi also boasts solid industrial and cultural foundations.

Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
