Investments gather momentum in Xiamen

Xiamen realized 64.5 percent of its annual inbound investment target in the first half of 2015. The city utilized $1.35 billion of foreign investment, according to data released by the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce.

In terms of contracts signed, Xiamen's investment in overseas regions reached $1.16 billion, an increase of 114.4 percent compared to the same period last year.

The ratio of outbound investment to inbound investment climbed to 63.4 percent. In comparison, the ratio for the whole of 2014 was 35.4 percent.
