Siming district sees best air quality in Xiamen

Siming distric ranked first in the latest air quality survey of Xiamen, Fujian province. The survey was conducted from March 15 to 21 and saw Tongan district placed at the bottom of the list.

According to the Air Quality Index (AQI), Haicang district, Xiang’an district, Tongan district and Jimei district saw lightly polluted days from March 15 to 16, with haze and fog mainly caused by PM2.5, or particulates of less than 2.5 micrometers.
