Travel time between Xiamen and Lanzhou slashed

A train between Xiamen city in Fujian province and Beijing will spend about 18.5 hours commuting after changing part of its route which takes effect on May 20.

The Z308, previously K308, will change route in Fujian and Jiangxi provinces eliminating nearly 20 stops before reaching its destination and the travel time will be reduced from 33 hours 40 minutes to 18 hours 32 minutes with the ticket price unchanged, ranging from 240 to 640 yuan.

There will also be a new Z126 service linking Xiamen and Lanzhou in Gansu province for the first time, with a travel time of 28 hours and tickets ranging from 290.5 to 775.5 yuan.
