Oil price rises in Fujian

The Fujian Price Bureau increased retail prices of gasoline and diesel on Feb 27 Friday.

Maximum prices of No. 93 and No. 97 gasoline are 6.16 and 6.58 yuan per liter, up 0.31 and 0.33 yuan, respectively. No. 0 diesel is a maximum 5.79 yuan per liter, 0.32 yuan more than previously.

Wholesale prices of No. 93, and No. 97 gasoline and No. 0 diesel also jumped to 7,869, 8,334 and 6.430 yuan per ton respectively, said the Bureau.

The price adjustments followed an announcement by the National Development and Reform Commission earlier the same day.

It is the second consecutive rise in the price of petroleum products this year, following 13 successive price reductions in the second half of 2014.
