Xi Zhinong came to Tangjiahe and recorded many precious images with his camera. In these years, he has planned to make a documentary on the theme of the Chinese monal in Tangjiahe, but for various reasons, he has not completed it.

In 2008, Xi  donated 100,000 yuan from the charity sale of the Wild China album to build the Chinese Monal Cottage, providing a shelter for scientific research and conservation personnel and volunteers in the wild. Now, the 59-year-old man returned to Tangjiahe, and determined to fulfill his wish as soon as possible.
