Shanghai IP Administration and Unifab discuss stronger IP protection

Officer Delphine Sarfati-Sobreira visited the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration (SIPA) for a working session with Yu Chen, deputy director-general of SIPA.

Yu outlined SIPA's responsibilities and policies for protecting intellectual property for foreign-invested companies. He pledged to strengthen Shanghai's IP protection system and create a top-tier business environment for overseas investors. Yu also invited Unifab and its members to give feedback on local IP practices.

Sarfati-Sobreira praised Shanghai's business climate and thanked SIPA for supporting French and foreign companies. She hopes for increased cooperation on IP protection.

The two sides discussed corporate IP safeguards, including Unifab's deputy CEO, China chief representative, Shanghai-based members, SIPA division heads, and the Shanghai IP Protection Center.
