The 21st Shanghai International Intellectual Property Forum will take place in Shanghai on Dec 4, with the tagline "Intellectual Property Empowers the Development of New Quality Productive Forces".

This forum is co-hosted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, with support from the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration and the Xuhui District People's Government.

It aims to implement the decisions of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council on IP work, participate actively in global IP governance under WIPO, and promote Shanghai as an international IP hub and a leader in IP rights protection.

Experts and scholars from around the world will gather to talk, learn from international best practices in IP governance, and support scientific and technological innovation and economic and social development.

As a high-level international IP forum, the event is highly valued by WIPO, CNIPA, and the Shanghai municipal government. Leaders from these organizations have frequently attended and addressed the forum, which has become an influential event in the global IP field and a key platform for showcasing China's IP development.
