With meticulous planning and on-site guidance, the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration (SIPA) provided full support for the seventh China International Import Expo (CIIE), which concluded on Nov 10 after a six-day run.

In the lead-up to the event, SIPA crafted a comprehensive work plan for IP service guarantee, emphasizing areas like infringement complaints, legal consultations, and exhibition certificate processing. This groundwork aimed to refine service quality, streamline operations, and ensure effective IP support during the expo.

During the event, SIPA leaders provided hands-on guidance on site, interacting with participants and reinforcing service standards.

For key exhibition areas such as automobiles, medical devices, and technical equipment, the SIPA service team provided professional support to domestic and foreign enterprises in areas such as IP rights protection, technology trade with China and Shanghai, and IP transaction operations. The administration also established long-term communication mechanisms to ensure ongoing support and tracking.

SIPA also focused on amplifying the expo's spillover effects by leveraging the National Intellectual Property Operation (Shanghai) International Service Platform to support enterprises in key sectors.
