Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration holds working exchange with Bosch Group

The Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration (SIPA) hosted a working exchange meeting with a delegation from the German Bosch Group, led by Peter Svejkovsky, global senior vice-president and head of the IP Department at Bosch. The delegation was received by Yu Chen, deputy director general of SIPA.
During the meeting, Yu provided an overview of SIPA's functions and recent developments in IP work in Shanghai. He highlighted the city's efforts in designing and implementing IP protection measures, particularly the administrative adjudication of patent infringement disputes.
Yu emphasized that SIPA is committed to creating a favorable environment for IP protection and development with continual improvements to the protection system. This, he noted, is aimed at providing convenience and high-quality services to global enterprises investing and operating in Shanghai.
Svejkovsky shared insights into Bosch Group's IP operations and its business activities in China. He praised SIPA's robust measures and significant achievements in strengthening IP protection.
He expressed gratitude for the support provided by SIPA and other departments to foreign enterprises operating in Shanghai. He also reaffirmed Bosch's commitment to its presence in Shanghai and its dedication to deepening its engagement in the Chinese market.
