French IP Counselor visits Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration

On Nov 6, the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration, or SIPA, hosted a delegation from the French Embassy in China led by IP Counselor Julie Herve.
Rui Wenbiao, director general of the SIPA, met with the French delegation for a productive exchange.
Rui highlighted Shanghai's recent initiatives to enhance its IP protection framework, emphasizing the city's commitment to providing equal protection for both domestic and foreign businesses. He expressed a desire to continue their dialogue and enhance cooperation.
Herve praised Shanghai's favorable business environment, which attracts many French enterprises, and thanked the administration for its support of foreign businesses in the city. She also shared insights into the operations of the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and France's IP strategies.
