Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration visits Singapore counterpart

At the invitation of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), a delegation from the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration, led by Deputy Director General Yang Hui, visited Singapore to foster international collaboration in the field of intellectual property.

During the visit, Yang engaged in discussions with the deputy director of international relations at IPOS. The talks focused on several key areas, including the commercialization and utilization of intellectual property, dispute resolution, overseas rights protection, and public IP services. Both parties reached a consensus on strengthening business cooperation and establishing robust channels for information exchange.

In Singapore, the Shanghai delegation participated in the IPOS 360° event, where they interacted with representatives from the business sector and IP service organizations. The discussions highlighted the development of intellectual property in China and Shanghai, emphasizing efforts to protect, support, and serve innovation.

The delegation also attended Singapore's Intellectual Property Week, taking part in sessions that covered a range of pertinent topics such as artificial intelligence, the IP economy, intangible asset valuation, trade secret protection, and technological disputes related to intellectual property.
