The ninth China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair (CSITF) wrapped up in Shanghai on June 17.
The three-day event attracted 958 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions, as well as 27 provinces in China.
The fair also featured an IP-themed day with various activities aimed at raising IP awareness and providing IP services to exhibitors and visitors.
During the fair, the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration gave a briefing on Shanghai's IP development goals for 2023 and answered questions from foreign-funded enterprises.
The "Belt and Road" IP Protection Forum was also held to explore ways of building an IP protection and support system for the Belt and Road Initiative, and to advance international cooperation at a broader and higher level in this area.
The IP service area at the fair provided IP consultation services and handled IP disputes complaints for domestic and foreign exhibitors. Several IP public service institutions, such as the Shanghai Intellectual Property Protection Center, offered one-stop IP services at the fair.
