The "Belt and Road" Intellectual Property Protection Forum was held in Shanghai on June 16, which marked the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

During the forum, experts and scholars from various fields shared their views and experiences on topics such as IP database construction among countries involved in the BRI and IP challenges and solutions for Chinese enterprises looking to go global.

A practical guide regarding patent and trademark applications in BRI countries was also released during the event, which is one of the featured forums of the ninth China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair that took place in Shanghai from June 15 to 17.
