Shanghai provides patent pre-examination service
The Shanghai Intellectual Property Protection Center recently announced the first batch of 150 approved applicants for its patent pre-examination service in 2023.
The approved applicants are mainly involved in the new materials industry and the energy conservation and environmental protection sector, according to the center.
The patent pre-examination service is a fast-track channel for patent applications that meet certain criteria.
The center will conduct a preliminary review of the applications and issue a pre-examination report.
Applications that pass pre-examination will enter the fast examination track of the China National Intellectual Property Administration.
