The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) recently announced the 25 finalists of its annual Global Awards program, which recognizes excellence in the use of intellectual property for positive impact at home and abroad.

WIPO received 548 submissions from 58 countries this year. The submissions are related to a wide range of sectors, including the creative industries, food, green energy technologies and healthcare.

Among the finalists are three companies from Shanghai – Shanghai Sage Intelligent Technology Co Ltd, Shanghai Superhigh Environmental Technology Co Ltd and Shanghai Westwell Technology Co Ltd.

The award winners will be announced during the WIPO Assemblies in July.
