Shanghai releases IP protection benchmark cases
Shanghai city in East China recently released its list of the top 10 benchmark cases in intellectual property, or IP protection in 2021, following recommendations from local government departments and expert reviews.
The top 10 were selected from such fields as patents, trademarks, copyright and trade secrets – involving civil, criminal and administrative law enforcement cases.
The top cases were all innovative models, setting precedents in the handling of similar cases. They also had high public profiles, which promoted relevant industries to establish norms.
In addition, the cases covered a wide range of trademarks, trade secrets, geographical indications and other IP protection areas.
