SIPA delegation visits WIPO China Office

A delegation from the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration, or SIPA, led by Rui Wenbiao, director general of the administration, visited the World Intellectual Property Organization's China Office in Beijing on March 12.

Rui had in-depth exchanges with Liu Hua, the WIPO office's director, on Shanghai's IP-related international cooperation programs.

Rui expressed his gratitude to the WIPO China Office for its long-term support of and guidance to Shanghai's IP work.

He also briefly talked about the plans for Shanghai's IP international cooperation work in 2021.

WIPO's Liu spoke highly of the IP work in Shanghai, fully affirming the positive achievements of the organization's cooperation with the city and discussed the annual and medium and long-term plans of the WIPO China Office.

The SIPA delegation also went to related departments of the China National Intellectual Property Administration to discuss international cooperation and IP work at the upcoming 8th China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair, which will be held in Shanghai on April 15-17.
