A delegation from the US-China Business Council and its member enterprises visited SIPA on June 10, 2020. Rui Wenbiao, director general of SIPA and Yang Hui, deputy director general of SIPA, received the delegation.

XIV. SIPA and EUIPO Boards of Appeal conduct video conference

SIPA and the Boards of Appeal at the European Union Intellectual Property Office held a video conference on July 22, 2020. Rui Wenbiao, director general of SIPA and Théophile Margellos, president of the Boards of Appeal at the EUIPO, co-chaired the conference.

XVI. French intellectual property official Julie Herve visits SIPA

Julie Herve, the intellectual property counsellor at the embassy of France in China, visited SIPA on Nov 6, 2020. Zhang Yongzhong, deputy director general of SIPA, received the official and they had talks on the development and protection of IP between China and France.

XVII. The 2020 China-Israel Business Summit: Shanghai Spotlight held in China-Israel Innovation Hub (Shanghai)

The 2020 China-Israel Business Summit: Shanghai Spotlight was held in the China-Israel Innovation Hub (Shanghai) on Dec 16, 2020.

The largest annual event focusing on business cooperation between China and Israel, it has been held seven times and this was the first time it was held in China.

Rui Wenbiao, director general of SIPA and Yao Rulin, deputy head of Shanghai Putuo district, unveiled the new Shanghai Trademark Brand Innovation and Entrepreneurship (China-Israel Innovation Hub (Shanghai)) Base and the China (Shanghai) Intellectual Property Rights Protection Assistance Center (China-Israel Innovation Hub (Shanghai)) Workstation during the event.
