Top intellectual property officials meet in Shanghai

Liu Hua, director of the World Intellectual Property Organization's China office, visited the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration on Nov 4 and was received by Rui Weibiao, director-general of SIPA.
The two sides had in-depth exchanges on deepening cooperation in the field of intellectual property, or IP, officials said.
Rui gave a briefing on IP protection and development in Shanghai, reviewed the status of cooperation with WIPO and discussed the latest situation in terms of deepening international cooperation and exchanges in the field of IP.
Liu talked about the work of WIPO's China office and spoke highly of Shanghai's achievements in IP protection and development. She hoped to further strengthen and expand the cooperation with Shanghai, so as to support the city in building an international high ground for IP protection.
