Stroll through an 800-meter walk of romance

Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden is a fabulous destination for a getaway at any time. The natural landscape there is scenic with the landscape boasting mountains, water, thick trees, a multitude of flower species, and adorable animals, and the fun facilities are well-equipped. In early April the more than 300 Cerasus yedoensis cherry trees, and also some other varieties of cherry trees on the 800-meter-long passageway, become the highlight of the scenic spot.

Cerasus yedoensis, also commonly known as Yoshino cherry, is a deciduous species found in ornamental gardens. It can grow to 10 to 15 meters high and fall into full bloom usually between late March and the first ten days of April. [Photo from WeChat: csnbgsh]
