Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort was honored as a national demonstration base for its successful urban ecotourism construction, after a two-day inspection from Sept 13.
Experts from Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision (SMBQTS) inspected the landmarks of the resort, such as Sheshan Pit Hotel, Chenshan Botanical Garden, Sheshan National Forest Park (including the observatory and Catholic Church) and Guangfulin Relic Park.
Through interviews and checks of accounts, the supervision group announced that Sheshan had passed the on-site test, which will be further reported to General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
An official from Sheshan promised to resolve any imperfections in order to continue to improve the quality of the service at the resort.
