Chenshan Botanical Garden is hosting a hydrangea themed exhibition for the first time from June 1 to 18 with more than 40 kinds of hydrangea plants presenting gorgeous colors for Children's Day and the Dragon Boat Festival.
Covering an area of 1,000 square meters, the exhibition takes advantage of floriculture and combined potting to display multiple forms of flowers. The pit garden creates a resplendent flower parade with colorful hydrangea plants delicately matching other flowers.
Hydrangea macrophylla or "Love You Kiss", one species of the flower family, has been listed as one of the excellent flowers in the world by the Royal Horticultural Society.
Other native and new species of the hydrangea family will also be on display, including Hydrangea paniculata, Hydrangea arborescens and Hydrangea quercifolia.
