Five Star Sports Radio FM94.0 of SMG (Shanghai Media Group) will launch a racing event "Tianma Night" at STC (Shanghai Tianma Circuit) on June 11 for racing enthusiasts to experience a fast and furious competition.
The 5h Tianma Endurance will also be held on that day, with the FM94.0 Team making its first appearance in the race with Ya Dong, a staffer of the sports radio channel, as the driver. Participants for the event "Tianma Night" will join members of the team's fan club to watch the race freely and enjoy various privileges in future activities.
During the endurance race, professional coaches from Shanghai Lisheng Racing School will give classes to the audience explaining racing theories based on pro racing license tests. After the class, the audience will be able to drive their own cars to the circuit and get a close look at racing cars.
A low-speed and high-speed lap drive will follow the free drive. Last is the race car test drive, where participants will have the chance to become a pro racer for a few minutes, experiencing the amazing speed.
In addition to the races themselves, various events will be held in the newly-built grandstand to add extra fun to the day.
The Shanghai Tianma Circuit was inaugurated in 2004 and has already hosted several rounds of the China Touring Car and Superbike Championships.
