Chenshan Botanical Garden, a representative for Shanghai in the seventh China Rose Expo, swept the awards ceremony held in Beijing on May 20, winning seven awards including the grand prize for indoor landscaping.

Covering an area of 200 square meters, the garden displayed six species of its independently fostered roses. The newly developed rose rootstock in the shape of trees has a smooth, tall and straight trunk; elegant crown; fast-growing speed; and strong anti-pest ability. It garnered significant attention highlighting the rose exposition.

Other rose species include the four season tree rose, the weeping tree rose and the floribunda rose. The flexible and diverse exhibition arrangement fully reflected the region's distinctive rose culture while showing its remarkable achievements in the field of rose research.
