Recently, tropical flowers in the greenhouses of Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden have been in bloom just in time for the New Year.
There are various kinds of colorful tropical flowers, including Euphorbia pulcherrima, Bougainvillea spectabilis, Clerodendrum quadriloculare, Aloe munchii and Clerodendrum bungei.
Many of the tropical flowers are peculiar in shape, such as the South American Euphorbia pulcherrima which looks like burning flames, and the Southeast Asian Clerodendrum quadriloculare which looks like fireworks.
