The Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort enjoyed booming tourism during the National Day holiday (Oct 1-7) by offering packaged deals covering the resort's hotels and attractions.
Sheshan has built a mini-farm for kids covering an area of 1.3 hectares near the Shanghai Dazhong International Conference Center to let them experience the fun of feeding animals and growing vegetables.
The resort will make use of networks and new media tools (such as WeChat and micro blogs) to improve customer satisfaction at hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions, said Gao Guoxiang, vice-director of the office of the resort's administration committee.
