Chenshan Botanical Garden recently organized an aromatic plants exhibition to celebrate the May Day holiday.
18 species of potted aromatic plants and 20 kinds of essential oils were displayed during the show, including lavender, geranium, mint, rosemary, lemongrass and rose. The equipment for extracting essential oils was shown and a series of interactive activities were organized to offers visitor a wonderful experience. To give visitors a better understanding of aromatic plants, the organizers also set up a large explanatory board to give a detailed background about aromatic plants and the essential oils extraction process.
The aromatic plant exhibition effectively integrated research, gardening and science popularization resources in Chenshan Botanical Garden. It will last until the end of May and visitors are welcome to come and experience a sensory pleasure trip.
