On April 12, the "Love in Chenshan" dating party successfully wrapped up. It had been jointly organized by Chenshan Botanical Garden, the Youth League Committee of Shanghai Greening Administration, the Youth League Committee of Shanghai Justice Bureau, and Shanghai Times newspaper.
More than 40 young men and women had gathered at Chenshan Botanical Garden to look for their Mr Right or Miss Right.
The organizers specifically chose the orchid as a matchmaker theme, and organized a series of activities to enhance young people's communications, for example, "love at first sight", "guess songs through listening", "hit the drum and hand down a flower", "orchids for girls", "connection competition" and "search orchids".
The event also invited a band from Shanghai Electric Power University to add to the fun. Activities successfully concluded with the sound of happy laughter. Subsequently, many young people visited the garden together with their new counterparts to continue their journey of love.
