Costing 200 million yuan ($32.2 million), "Happy Ocean", the second phase of Shanghai’s Happy Valley, is now preparing to receive tourists.

The park covers an area of 50,000 square meters. It has been five years since Happy Valley first opened, and now it is now offering a brand new experience with the theme of ocean culture.

Happy Ocean has introduced over 20 advanced entertainment facilities, such as a suspended family roller coaster, a virtual indoor roller coaster and a 4D theater from Switzerland, Germany and Canada. In addition, there will also be jellyfish, sea lion shows and all kinds of themed souvenirs.

The former Ant Kingdom has been temporarily closed.
