The second "Lao Fengxiang" Shanghai International Orchid Show, hosted by Chenshan Botanical Garden, is opening on March 29. Thirty-two professional teams from seventeen countries or regions will attend the show in the exhibition area, which is nearly twenty thousand square meters, providing a grand visual feast of orchids to the visitors.
Themed on "The Orchid of Dream, the Choice from Taste", the show will have ten major theme activities such as orchid appreciation and evaluation training, an orchid photography contest and orchid lectures. People from all age groups can take part in different kinds of activities.
Compared with the first international orchid show, this time, not only the numbers of orchids and attending countries are much greater, but the quantity of precious orchids has also increased exponentially. Thirty-two themed spots offer thirty-two different views.
In addition, electronic tickets and a guide service will be available this time.
