Spring has breezed into Shanghai and everywhere flowers are blooming. In order to provide a better service to visitors to the second Shanghai International Orchid show, Chenshan Botanical Garden started recruiting volunteers.

Since the beginning of March when the garden began to recruit volunteers, over 500 registration forms have been received. After careful consideration, 200 volunteers were selected to receive training in the garden. Together with party member volunteers from Chenshan and other active young volunteers, they will be providing services such as ticket-checking, counseling, and maintaining order.

Through the training provided by the Chenshan Botanical Garden, the young volunteers are improving their scientific knowledge and their ability to help others. They are thus becoming a "bridge" between the visitors and science built by the garden.
