On February 14, Shanghai Happy Valley will hold special events allowing visitors to celebrate wonderful moments with family and friends.

Lantern Festival, which marks the end of Spring Festival celebrations and is known as China's "Valentine's Day," falls on the same date this year as the Western celebration of Valentine’s Day.

The Happy Hour Zone will host a series of interactive activities, inviting site visitors to participate. All participants will have the opportunity to get a surprise gift sent on behalf of Happy Valley.

A love song singing competition is expected to grab the attention of couples. Boyfriends will have a chance to shout out "I love you" on the stage. What’s more, a kiss competition will create a romantic atmosphere. To celebrate Lantern Festival, Happy Valley will host a tongue twister contest, including a Mandarin version and a dialect version. Shanghai Happy Valley band members will bring wonderful performances to the stage. Meanwhile, a costume parade with stunning music and light floats will welcome you and your family to watch and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Shanghai Happy Valley is open from 9:00am-9:00pm on Feb 14. The night session is open from 5:30pm-9:00pm. The night session ticket is 80 yuan ($13.20) per person. Each male visitor with a valid ticket can bring a female visitor in for free.

Between January 31-February 14, Shanghai migrant workers with a valid Shanghai temporary residence permit and ID card can enjoy half-price tickets to Shanghai Happy Valley.
