A Chenshan Botanical Garden delegation attended the four-day China International Travel Mart (CITM) 2013 as an exhibitor to actively promote the garden and its coming events.

The China International Travel Mart (CITM) is the largest professional travel mart in Asia. It has drawn the attention of people in the tourism industry worldwide. As an annual event, it is alternately held in Shanghai and the city of Kunming in Yunnan province.

The CITM 2013, jointly organized by the China National Tourism Administration, the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and the Civil Aviation Administration of China, was held in the Kunming International Convention & Exhibition Center from October 24 to 27.

This year, the fair attracted over 100,000 visitors and distributed 5.94 million leaflets. It's the first fair since the newly-launched Tourism Law went into effect. It provides a platform to promote industry discussions and explore markets.

The delegation of Chenshan Botanical Garden distributed over 3,000 leaflets to visitors, answering questions on site. They presented the garden as an attractive scenic spot, highlighting the international orchid show in 2014.
