RHS guests visit Chenshan Botanical Garden

A delegation from the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) visited Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden on September 14.

Dr. Hu Yonghong, director of Chenshan Botanical Garden, welcomed the delegation and briefed the British guests about the garden and its recent developments in botanical research. In the meeting,

Wu Hong and Huang Weichang, vice-directors of the garden, presented their marketing and garden management strategies. Shen Shuai, assistant to the director, introduced the garden's recent science popularization activities.

Sarah Cathcart, head of education and learning at the RHS, praised the garden's achievements and invited Chenshan Botanical Garden to take part in the Chelsea Flower Show in the future.

The two sides also exchanged opinions on kid's garden construction and science popularization organization, expressing a mutual desire to cooperate.

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is the UK's leading gardening charity dedicated to advancing horticulture and promoting good gardening. It hosts the annual RHS Chelsea Flower Show, which is the most famous flower show in the UK.
