The Tourism Billboard, a poll sponsored by Shanghai Morning Post, was launched on Dec 10. The poll will seek to name the top tourist resorts of 2012. Shanghai Happy Valley was included as a possible choice.
It is the first time that different tourism industries have participated in the poll. Many media companies also spotlighted the event. The awards will be selected by millions of netizen votes, expert panels and professional research agencies.
During the poll, Shanghai Happy Valley was publicized on special pages and sections on Shanghai Morning Post. Since voting started, Shanghai Happy Valley has lead in the selection of most popular tourist resort.
