A "Treasure Hunt" competition and award ceremony were held in Chenshan Botanical Garden on June 30. Sixteen treasure hunters were awarded gold bars, iPhones, iPads or international air tickets from Spring Airlines.

In the final round of the competition, participants had to find the clues of the treasure from plant theme riddles or photos in every scenic spot and then get treasure badges. The more badges a participant got, the greater chance there was to win.

Since June 2, the nine parks in Shanghai have jointly organized the competition, including Chenshan Botanical Garden, Shanghai Zoo, Shanghai Binjiang Forest Park, Shanghai Botanical Garden, Gongqing Forest Park, Guyi Garden, Gucun Park, Changfeng Park, and Century Park.

The activity attracted thousands of tourists. They got tickets for the nine parks by signing into the Shanghai Bund official micro-blog, and the lucky ones will be selected as participants in the competition, and share their treasure hunt stories with netizens.
