The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has recognized a rural tour route in Yangquan, Shanxi province, as one of 32 boutique rural tourism routes. This captivating journey combines floral landscapes, idyllic rural charm, and historical and cultural sites, including the Hongyanling Scenic Area, Taohe Park, Taolingou Scenic Area, Cangshan Mountain, and Dapin ancient village.
Hongyanling Scenic Area in Pingding county offers a breathtaking spectacle each spring as peach blossoms blanket the landscape, creating a vibrant tapestry deep within the Taihang Mountains. Visitors can hike along winding mountain paths, taking in the majestic peaks and fragrant blooms.
Taolingou Scenic Area, located in the suburbs of Yangquan, boasts expansive peach orchards. Every April, the area comes alive with the Peach Blossom Festival, drawing tourists to its vibrant displays.

Cangshan Mountain in Yuxian county is renowned for its spring peach blossoms. Visitors can stroll along the mountain paths and experience the tranquil beauty of towering ancient trees and gently cascading petals.
Dapin ancient village, also in Yuxian county, is adorned with mountain peach and forsythia flowers in spring, strikingly contrasting the village's weathered stone walls. The village preserves the architectural style of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911), inviting visitors to wander cobblestone streets, explore ancient temples and wells, and soak in the serene atmosphere where time seems to stand still.
Visitors can also savor authentic farmhouse meals and flavorful local snacks, adding a culinary delight to their journey.
