Shanxi Baohua International Travel Service will launch a direct charter flight route from Taiyuan to Moscow starting April 19 to meet the tourism demand of Shanxi residents traveling to Russia during the China-Russia Culture Year and attract Russian tourists to Shanxi.
The charter flights will operate every Wednesday and Saturday. On Wednesdays, flight Y7534 departs at 12:00 from Taiyuan and arrives in Moscow at 17:30 local time, and flight Y7533 departs at 19:10 from Moscow and arrives in Taiyuan at 9:25 the following day local time.
On Saturdays, flight Y7534 departs Taiyuan at 14:55 and arrives in Moscow at 20:15 local time, and flight Y7533 departs Moscow at 22:55 and arrives in Taiyuan at 13:15 the following day local time.
Shanxi Baohua International Travel Service has operated the Taiyuan-Moscow charter route since 2023, providing a vital air link for cultural, economic, and tourism exchanges between China and Russia.
Relying on this route, the agency has developed new customized Russian tourism products to meet diverse traveler needs. Registration for the inaugural tour group departing on April 19 is now open.
In December 2024, Taiyuan Wusu International Airport was added as a visa-free entry/exit port, with Taiyuan and Datong included in the 240-hour visa-free stay zone. Launching the Taiyuan-Moscow charter route is expected to attract international tourists, boosting cross-border tourism consumption.
