To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-French diplomatic relations, a significant cultural exhibition unfolded on April 13 at Shanxi Museum of Archaeology.

This exhibition stands as the museum's third major showcase of the year, boasting the participation of 26 artists from Shanxi, Beijing, Shanghai, and Sichuan, as well as those from France, the United Kingdom, and Belgium. Together, they presented 55 works of art.

Zhang Xiaoqiang, director of the museum and social relics department of the Shanxi Cultural Relics Bureau, shared the significance behind this exhibition. He remarked that throughout history, both China and France have possessed unique artistic allure, influencing the development of civilizations in their respective regions.

The exhibition also showcased relics and artifacts from the Confucius Temple, facilitating more profound dialogues.

Through digital art, paintings, sculptures, and other mediums, the exhibition guided visitors on an artistic journey that transcends both time and space.

The exhibition will continue until April 19. During this period, professionals from Belgium, France and China will share their insights on contemporary art.
