Four industrial parks in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, were recently recognized as provincial demonstration and incubator parks of the digital economy by the Shanxi Development and Reform Commission.

The Shanxi Data Traffic Ecology Park was rated as a demonstration park of the digital economy, while TIPark (Taiyuan), Zhongke Tongchang Digital Economy Industrial Park, and Xiaodian Investment Industrial Park were rated as digital economy incubators.

Since its opening in January 2021, Shanxi Data Traffic Ecology Park has been committed to creating a hub for the digital industry and a data flow price depression, while also attracting national traffic resources to Shanxi. Over the past two years, the number of enterprises entering the park has exceeded 400 and the total revenue has surpassed 10 billion yuan ($1.40 billion).

TIPark (Taiyuan) has been committed to creating an innovation and entrepreneurship hub focusing on the cultivation of innovative and entrepreneurial talent, the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and the gathering of industrial clusters.

Zhongke Tongchang Digital Economy Industrial Park includes clusters of artificial intelligence data labeling, the digital information industry, information technology application innovation, a digital economy innovation platform and industrial digital services.

Xiaodian Investment Industrial Park is responsible for the regional headquarters economy, high-tech industrial research and development, and project implementation. It is an important platform for Taiyuan to promote the development of information technology application innovation.
