The Shanxi Digital Low-Altitude Innovation Valley project was launched on Dec 27 in Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone, heralding a new era in low-altitude economic development in North China's Shanxi province.

During the launch ceremony, Shanxi Transportation Development and Investment Group Co signed multiple strategic cooperation agreements with Shanghai Shanhejing Intelligent Technology Group Co and Shanxi General Aviation Polytechnic.

The Shanxi Digital Low-Altitude Innovation Valley features a Digital Low-Altitude Economy Research Institute that focuses on in-depth research and development of low-altitude economic topics. It also has three centers: the Digital Low-Altitude Intelligent Operation Center, Low-Altitude Aircraft 5S Delivery Center, and Digital Low-Altitude Engineering Training Center.

Once completed, the innovation valley project will boost the application of low-altitude aircraft in highway inspections, aerial firefighting, and emergency rescue, injecting new vitality into the province's smart transportation and smart city development.

The Low-Altitude Economic User Development Conference took place following the launch ceremony. Experts from CRSC Urban Rail Transit Technology Co and China State Construction Engineering Corporation shared their explorations and practices in low-altitude economics through keynote speeches.
