Wrestling tournament kicks off in Taiyuan

The international wrestling tournament of the 2nd National Youth Games began at Shanxi University of Finance and Economics in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, on July 20. 

A total of 858 athletes in 54 teams from across China, divided into sports schools and social club categories, are competing in freestyle wrestling and Graeco-Roman wrestling in the nine-day competition. 

A team from Shanxi province won three gold medals on the first day of the event.
