The launch ceremony for an instant sports lottery – themed on the 2nd National Youth Games and featuring Shanxi culture and scenery – recently took place in Taiyuan. 

The instant lottery tickets for sale have two denominations – 5 yuan ($0.73) and 10 yuan, with the highest prize being 250,000 yuan. 

On the tickets are designs of major scenic and historical spots across Shanxi, such as the Yellow River, the Great Wall and Taihang Mountains, as well as 12 sports events being staged at the 2nd National Youth Games. 

The designs are presented in the form of Guangling Paper-cutting, which is a provincial intangible cultural heritage. 

The director of Shanxi Sport Bureau called on more people to get to know the 2nd National Youth Games and fall in love with Shanxi through the unique design of the instant lottery tickets.
