Running until May 21, the exhibition showcases a combination of ancient tea-making techniques and the rituals associated with them.

The event is part of the "high-quality development service month for private economy" in the Pudong New Area and is intended to deepen local and regional appreciation for tea while enhancing the pride of young private entrepreneurs in China's cultural heritage.

The exhibition offers an immersive experience into the world of Chinese tea, presenting live demonstrations, opportunities to taste the six major tea types, and lectures from practitioners of these traditional practices.

Lin Chen, deputy director of the China National Tea Museum, emphasized the importance of Shanghai as a hub for tea enthusiasts and invited residents to explore the rich tapestry of tea culture.

"The history of Chinese tea is extensive and varied, and this exhibition brings that to life in a city known for its cultural diversity and openness," said Lin.

The event not only celebrates the traditional art of tea-making but also serves as a platform for new partnerships, such as the strategic cooperation agreement signed between the Pudong Tea Culture Industry Chamber of Commerce and the Lanping County Secondary Vocational Technical School in Yunnan province, aimed at fostering educational and economic ties.

As Shanghai continues to be a melting pot for cultural exchange, this exhibition proves to be a significant step forward in promoting and preserving one of China's most cherished traditions.
