Pudong International Talent Hub Forum to open in Shanghai

The 2021 Pudong International Talent Hub Forum at Pudong Shangri-La in Shanghai will open on Dec 2.

Positioned as an international high-end forum, the event will be attended by renowned experts and scholars, business leaders, and human resources executives of global leading enterprises.

The forum will focus on innovation trends, stories about Pudong and talent development, discuss ways to attract global talents to Pudong and avenues to promoting industrial development and science and technology innovation, as well as provide insights into talent service brand building and talent development at enterprises.

The forum will be held at a main venue and three sub-venues.

Activities at the main venue will include an opening ceremony, keynote speeches by renowned guests, and an award ceremony for the Most Suitable Place to Work and Most Promising Returnee Entrepreneurial Team competitions.

Meetings at the sub-venues will involve one on the building of conducive workplaces, one on talent cultivation, development and incentives by the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), and one on building a talent ecosystem with global competitiveness catered to human resources service institutions.

The forum is hosted by the Pudong New Area Talent Work Leadership Group Office and the Pudong New Area Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, organized by the Pudong New Area Talent Market and Korn Ferry, and supported by CEIBS.

Speakers of the forum will include Gong Yan, professor of entrepreneurial management practice at CEIBS and programme director of the CEIBS Entrepreneurial Leadership Camp, David Shinger, a leading expert on employee engagement, Dan Brindle, president of Novartis Group (China), Xu Fang, director of human resources at Fessenius, Tang Qiuyong, co-director of the Global Human Resources and Organization Innovation Research Center of the Lyon Business School in France, CEIBS President Wang Hong, professor of management and Hengdian Group Chair Professor in Management, Zhang Weijiong, professor of strategy, CEIBS Vice President and director of the Centre of Chinese Private Enterprises at CEIBS, and Programme Co-Director of Global CEO Programme for China, Han Jian, professor of management at CEIBS, Xin Rong, professor of management at CEIBS, Korn Ferry Greater China President Chen Zhaofeng, and Ji Gang, partner and vice president at Roland Berger Greater China.
