Spring Airlines introduces new routes to Pudong
Spring Airlines will add eight new direct routes to Pudong International Airport, starting in the winter and spring seasons from Oct 25.
The new routes will link Shanghai with Lijiang in Yunnan province, Weifang in Shandong province, Ganzhou and Nanchang in Jiangxi province, Tongliao in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Guangyuan in Sichuan province, Zhengzhou in Henan province, and Beihai in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak, Spring Airlines has shifted its focus from the overseas business to the domestic market and added 28 new routes departing from Pudong.
Statistics show that there are currently 81 Spring Airlines air routes that take off in Shanghai, more than half of which are from Pudong airport.
Since October, the airline has offered a series of discounts on its official ticket booking app to stimulate off-peak traveling.
