Zhang Tao, male, Han ethnicity, born in November 1968, is a graduate of the Central Party School and a member of the Communist Party of China.

He currently serves as the vice-mayor of Yantai, a member of the leading Party members group of Yantai Municipal People's Government, and also the deputy secretary of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC Yantai Municipal Committee.

He is responsible for various aspects of work including public security, national security, justice, military-civilian relations, veterans affairs, petitions, arbitration, and combating smuggling.
