The third Conference of Great Business Partners kicked off in Jinan, Shandong province on March 28, while the coastal city of Yantai in East China's Shandong province held a cooperation promotion conference for key industrial chains during the big event.

The Yantai Key Industrial Chain Cooperation Promotion Conference was attended by a number of government officials, as well as senior representatives from Fortune Global 500 companies and large-scale multinational corporations.

This year is the starting point for fully implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, as well as a starting point for Shandong to build itself into a green, low-carbon, and high-quality development pilot province in China. 

It is also an important year for Yantai as it strives to become a trillion-yuan-GDP city. Yantai is expected to launch 537 key industrial projects, with a combined investment of 2.1 trillion yuan ($304.75 billion), this year, which cover areas like advanced manufacturing, modern services, new energy infrastructure, and urban development. All these projects will provide great potential and demand for investment and cooperation.
