Chen Fei was elected as mayor of Yantai, East China's Shandong province on Jan 19. The election was held at the third plenary session of the 17th Yantai Municipal People's Congress.

Chen was born in January, 1975, a native of Weifang, was appointed acting mayor of Yantai earlier this month.
